1. Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to your use of simplecalculators.app ("Simple Calculators", "the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, to use the site.

2. Estimates, not professional advice

Simple Calculators provides free online calculators for educational and informational purposes. Results are estimates based on the inputs you provide and the assumptions stated on each page. They are not:

• Financial or investment advice. Mortgage, loan, retirement, and investment tools model scenarios. They don't account for your full situation. Consult a qualified financial professional before making significant decisions.
• Tax advice. Tax calculators use published figures for the stated tax year but simplify many rules (credits, deductions, state taxes, phase-outs). Verify with a tax professional or official government resources before filing or paying.
• Medical advice. Health tools are informational screens. Clinical tools such as dosage and IV calculators are decision-support aids for trained professionals, who must independently verify every calculation against their facility's protocol. Never rely on this site for diagnosis or treatment decisions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
• Legal advice. Nothing on the site creates a professional or advisory relationship of any kind.

3. Accuracy

We work hard to keep formulas correct and data current. Rates and thresholds are sourced and updated when authorities publish new figures. Even so, we can't guarantee that every figure is accurate, complete, or current at the moment you use it. Laws, rates, and market conditions change, and live market data comes from third parties. If you spot an error, please report it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights;
• scrape, crawl, or request pages at a volume that disrupts the site, or bypass any measure we use to limit access;
• attempt to probe, attack, or interfere with the site, its servers, or other visitors, or introduce malware;
• copy or republish substantial parts of the site's content or calculators to build a competing service;
• send spam, abusive, or misleading messages through the contact form.

5. Intellectual property and citing us

The site's design, text, graphics, and code belong to Simple Calculators or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Standard formulas (loan amortization, BMI, and the like) are public knowledge; our implementations, explanations, and presentation are ours.

You're welcome to use the calculators for personal, educational, and internal business purposes. You may link to any page, and you may quote short excerpts or share individual results, provided you credit "Simple Calculators" with a link to the page. Search engines and AI answer services may index and cite our pages according to our robots.txt.

6. Your messages to us

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or error reports, you agree we may use them to improve the site without any obligation to you. How we handle the personal information in your message is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party services, ads, and links

Pages include third-party advertising and analytics, and some calculators display data from third-party providers (see our Privacy Policy). The site may link to external websites we don't control. Ads and links are not endorsements, and we're not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.

8. No warranty

The site and all calculators are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Calculators and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any result it produces — including financial losses, tax penalties, or health outcomes. The site is free, and your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with it is to stop using it.

10. Indemnity

11. Changes and availability

If you have a concern about the site, please contact us first through our contact form — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. Where those laws apply, they prevail over anything in these terms that conflicts with them.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
